Pitch types:
-
Allocated electric — Pitches designated by pitch markers in the centre of each pitch. There is an electric hookup unit between each pitch.
-
Allocated non-electric — Pitches are designated by pitch markers in the centre of each pitch.
-
Pick Your Own (non-electric) — Guests may pitch wherever they choose within a specific area with no pitch markers (marked on the campsite map). Please do not pitch on allocated pitches.
Checking in:
-
We operate a self check-in system both at Creekside and on the Grove .
-
At each site there is a pitch allocation list to check on the notice board. (The notice board for creekside is on the left of reception as you come in, the board for the grove is on the right hand side of the entrance roadway just as it bends left)
-
If you are on an allocated pitch, you may go directly to your pitch (as shown on our sitemaps)
-
If you are on a pick your own pitch on Creekside, please pick up a tent tag from the right of reception and pitch in our designated area—do not pitch on an allocated pitch.
Electric Hookups:
-
There is one standard 16-amp electric hookup unit between every two pitches (two pitches connect into one unit using standard blue round plugs to connect)
-
Please make sure that the power is on by ensuring that the mains switch is vertical
-
If you still have no power please ensure that the trip switches on your unit are switched on so that the indicators are red and not green
We are a relaxed and friendly site but there are some important points below to help ensure all our guests have a safe and enjoyable stay:
-
If not on an allocated pitch campers can choose where they would like to be on arrival in our non allocated camping meadows (see welcome pack for details). Please pitch at least 6m away from any other main camping unit (not including gazebos etc).
-
Campfires should be at least 3m away from tents/campervans. Please only burn wood purchased on site as we know this is quality kiln dried wood which minimises sparks and fire hazzard.
-
Noise should be kept to a minimum after 10.30pm and no music played after this time.
-
Please strictly adhere to onsite speed limits and be aware of other campers and children playing.
-
Children should be supervised by adults around the site in general including on our playing field and 'climbing bales'.
-
You will be staying on a working farm so please keep away from farm machinery and do not enter the farm yard. If you are interested and would like a look around or even have a sit on a tractor please ask one of our friendly staff and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
-
No stag or hen parties please and we have a limit on single sex bookings of 3 people.
-
Barbecues are permitted but should be raised off the ground with bricks provided.
-
The site will be dark at night and guests are advised to bring a torch with them.
-
Dogs should be kept on leads and waste disposed of appropriately.
-
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, XL Bullys and Fila Brasileiro).
-
Finally it would be much appreciated if all waste could be put in the bins provided and pitches left tidy on departure. 'Love the Farm & Leave no Trace'.
